Which disciplines are covered by the Oxford Journals online collection?

We publish journals from science, technical, professional, medical, humanities, arts and social science disciplines.

Are all Oxford journals available online?

There is a full list of titles available at Oxford Journals.

How far back online does online content go?

Online content for most journals is now available from Volume 1, Issue 1. Pre-1996 content is available via our Online Archives. Online content from 1996 onwards will be available with current subscriptions. The BJA: British Journal of Anaesthesia is an exception to this as content from 1995 onwards is available with a current subscription and pre-1995 content is available via the Medicine Archive.

How can I purchase a single article from a journal?

If you do not hold a subscription to a particular journal title then you may purchase short-term access on a pay-per-article basis where a pdf link to the article is available from the Journal's website.

Individual print copies may also be ordered via document supply services such as the British Library Document Supply Centre.

Alternatively, we can supply you with the complete issue in which the article appeared, if it is from the current or previous two volumes. Contact us at Journals Customer Services.

Can institutions add their own branding to their Oxford Journals pages?

Yes. Simply log into My Account with your institutional username and password and follow the instructions on the View or Change Institutional Branding Settings page.
